ABOUT US
The Beehive Montessori Nursery School was established in 1990. Shalden is a small village located 2 miles North West of Alton in Hampshire. The Beehive is located in the Shalden village hall and provides a highly regarded Value Added Service not only to its children but to the local community as well.
The Beehive has been owned and managed by Jan Driver and Annette Eyre since 2007. Jan is a qualified Montessori teacher and Annette has a Level 4 qualification in childcare.
The Beehive is a member of The Montessori Schools Association and the Pre-School Learning Alliance. We follow the Montessori curriculum in partnership with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
We have a good OFSTED report and able to offset nursery education grants against our fees for children who are aged 3 and 4 years.
