The nursery follows the Montessori philosophy and teaching methods, taking into account good current childcare practices including requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which continues into the reception year.
The Beehive provides a nurturing and structured, yet relaxed, environment promoting independence. Each child is able to make progress appropriate to their individual developing abilities and this is made possible by small class sizes and a high ratio of adults to children.
