Funding and Fees

There are a number of ways to fund your childcare at the Beehive:

We are now reserving places for the 2 year funding for working parents

*From September 2024 -  New 9 month+ funding for working parents, up to 15 hours per week (38 weeks per year) from the term following your child turning 9 months (the Beehive at Shalden Currently accepts Children from their 2nd birthday, The Beehive at Lindford accepts children from 18 months (awaiting confirmation)

Universal 15 hours free Childcare for 3 and 4 year olds: this is available from the term following your child’s 3rd birthday.

30 hours funding for 3 and 4 year olds is available where both parents are working (additional criteria applies)

2 year-old funding is available for families in receipt of certain benefits

Tax free childcare and employee voucher schemes enable parents to pre-pay for their childcare from their pre-tax salary.

Universal Credit – some support is available although parents need to claim a refund on paid fees

All additional hours are charged at a rate of £7 per hour Parents are invoiced, and the terms fees are payable promptly at the start of term however payments can be paid monthly or half termly if requested. Other payment methods can be discussed.

The Beehive does not currently charge additional fees for consumables
